Jessica Wang, MD, PhD
Dr. Jessica Wang is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, in Los Angeles, California, joining the faculty in 2015. Dr. Wang completed her MD degree at the University of Pennsylvania. She then went on to an Internal Medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and her training continued at UCLA, where she completed a PhD and was a fellow in Cardiovascular Disease. Her research interests include in cardiology, genetics, genomics, systems biology, and gaining an understanding of how genetic variation influences cardiovascular health. Dr. Wang has established the UCLA Cardiovascular Genetics Clinic (CGC) and Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Registry (ICDR) to systematically capture patients and families who have suffered devastating cardiovascular outcomes due to an inherited condition.
